What is Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA)?
Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA), also known as PRK or LASEK, is a flap-free laser vision correction procedure that reshapes the surface of the cornea to improve vision. Instead of creating a corneal flap, the thin outer layer of the eye is gently removed, allowing a precision excimer laser to correct refractive errors directly on the corneal surface.
