What is TESA®?

TESA® (also referred to as TransPRK) is a non-invasive surface-based laser treatment that removes the corneal epithelium and reshapes the underlying tissue in a single step — using an excimer laser.
There are no blades, no mechanical instruments, and no corneal flap. Healing begins immediately as the epithelium naturally regenerates.
