Why Patients Prefer FLACS
Suitability for FLACS is determined through comprehensive clinical evaluation by our eye specialists.
The Procedure in Detail
Every FLACS procedure at OPTIMAX follows a highly structured and controlled process:

A laser creates a precise entry point with minimal disruption.

The laser forms a perfectly centered opening in the lens capsule.

The cataract is gently broken down with laser pulses, requiring less ultrasound energy.

The cloudy lens is removed and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens (IOL).
Note: All surgeries are performed under local anaesthesia without the need for injections. However, general anaesthesia is also available upon request or if medically required. Each step is monitored in real-time to ensure optimal safety and surgical performance.
Intraocular Lens (IOL) Options
After cataract removal, your vision is restored using a medical-grade artificial lens. At OPTIMAX, we offer:

Monofocal IOL

Bifocal IOL

Trifocal / Multifocal IOL
Simulations and lens counseling are provided during your consultation so you can make an informed choice.
